Corrections Policy
Accuracy and fairness are prioritized. Verified correction requests are addressed promptly.
How to Request a Correction
Submit either:
- A GitHub Issue using the "Correction Request" template, or
- An email to the designated contact (listed on the site footer) containing:
- Page URL
- Exact excerpt in question
- Proposed correction
- Supporting reputable sources (URLs)
Evaluation Criteria
- Source reliability and recency
- Evidence corroboration by multiple reputable sources where applicable
- Relevance: Request must pertain to existing published content
Resolution
If accepted, the page is updated with a "Correction Notice" section at the bottom including:
- Date of correction
- Summary of change
- Reference to issue ID (if applicable)
Denied requests are logged internally with rationale; personal information of requestors is not published.
